I'm confused. Can they see the green ghost or not? In the first few pages with him, he was hanging on to Zander, who didn't react to him. But in one of the more recent pages, he was directly influencing Zander's movement. Does this mean that Zander is creepily comfortable with ghosts?

That ghost is invisible, and hard to detect using any other senses. The closest Zander came to noticing it was when it freaked out at the sight of the other ghost. Any other time the ghost has interacted with him, even when it pulled him away from an attack, nobody reacted. Possessed Edith is the only one who has acknowledged its existence, shoving it out of the way in an earlier page.

I really like this page too! 8 hour walk on the high way?! I guess it would be too easy to call for an Uber, right? Is the house out in the middle of no where?

The story is set in 2012 in suburban Utah, so services like Uber probably aren't an option...I think? Utah's always late to the party for anything. They could call a regular cab, though! There are plenty of other ways to abandon friends! The house is 10-20 minutes away from where Edith and Zander live; Theo and Sadie are from a city much farther north, so they're the only ones who are relatively stranded.

That makes sense, unless there's no cell service either. *evil laugh.
